Balance with AI
March 25, 2026
I don't see generative AI as a friend, but it helps me maintain some balance when dealing with human-related issues. By explaining my situation or asking the AI about a problem, I can escape from being stuck in my own rigid thoughts. I can explain my situation to the AI without worrying about whether it’s a "comfort zone" for me or not.
Snow mellting away
March 13, 2026
The snow covering the streets is melting away, and I can walk on solid ground again lately. Today, I didn't find it difficult at all to take a 17-minute walk to the nearby shopping center. I feel happy just from such a normal thing.
GitHub Pages
March 8, 2026
I migrated my website to GitHub Pages. Thanks to this, I can update the site simply by executing "commit" and "push." I no longer have to worry about which files are new or updated because Git tracks all those changes and allows me to revert to any point in the site's history. Generative AI helped me set up this system smoothly.
Shungiku tempura
March 6, 2026
I flew from Kobe Airport to Sapporo. However, the flight was delayed by 15 minutes. Because of that, I missed the airport limousine bus, which is timed with the flight arrivals. I had to wait over an hour for the next one, so I went to the food court. There, I found a soba stand that served Shungiku (garland chrysanthemum) tempura as a topping. I had been craving Shungiku tempura lately, so I decided to look on the bright side and feel lucky.
Osaka Loop Line
March 5, 2026
I visited Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka, and after that, I went to the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts. I traveled from Fukushima Station to Tennoji on the JR Osaka Loop Line. However, my train was bound for Kansai Airport. I expected the Osaka Loop Line to be just like the Yamanote Line in Tokyo, but it's different. In the end, I managed to reach Tennoji on that train. The Osaka train system is very complicated!
Carl Larsson
March 1, 2026
I learned about Carl Larsson on NHK's "The Sunday Museum" today. I was interested in how he uses outlines around objects in his paintings. It reminds me of a comic book style. At the same time, he uses realistic and bright colors, which gives his work a unique touch.
